My project focuses on nightlife and concert photography. I wanted to capture the energy of live music through performers, crowds, lighting, and movement. My goal was to show what it feels like to actually be at a concert instead of just documenting the artist. I mainly used digital photography because concert lighting changes quickly and I could capture moments as they happened. I researched other concert photographers and looked at how they use shadows, colors, angles, and lighting to create emotion. This research helped me become more intentional with when and where I took my photos. I think my project is mainly for music fans, photographers, and people who enjoy nightlife. I plan to present the photos as a digital collection or portfolio because seeing the images together helps show the overall atmosphere and energy of a concert.
